Watches and Cognac Faberge celebration at The Ritz
Share
Thank you to Faberge for hosting such a special evening last night at The Ritz London. I had the privilege to hear Jean-Marc Wiederrecht of Agenhor, talk about his passion in creating watches in which the minute hands are in the form of fluttering fairy wings, or hide away at the touch of a button. This is something genuinely new in watchmaking.
Jean-Marc is the secret weapon deployed by the likes of Hermès, Van Clef & Arpels and Faberge, a master watchmaker with four decades’ experience, whose Agenhor company has made a speciality of developing what Van Clef & Arpels calls ‘Poetic Complications’.
He has partnered with MB&F and won a shelf-full of prizes (including – over the years – four from the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, the Oscars of the timepiece world).
And here is Ilaria Bulgari, talking to Jean-Marc. I am the budding photographer who introduced them.
