Established in 2001, E M M A J A N E    K N I G H T   LONDON is a British, quiet luxury, brand specialising in top quality, eco, Cashmere and Tailored Collections.

Receiving compliments on my natural eye to put together stylish, sophisticated and elegant outfits, I created a cashmere brand after being involved in high fashion for 25 years working for companies such as Condé Nast Publications, De Beers and Chanel and qualifying with a London diploma in luxury styling.

I decided to focus my expertise to provide women with the finest, innovative yet timeless, investment Collections to wear year after year in different combinations.  Juggling a busy lifestyle, my aim is to create outfits that take a woman from day to evening and be perfect to travel in, with effortless style.

As each piece is designed to last for decades, I balance timelessness and innovation by combining heritage craftsmanship and classic aesthetics with cutting-edge textile technology and material innovation.  This approach ensures evolution without compromising the brand’s core values of discretion, elegance, and natural beauty.

The DNA of EMMAJANE KNIGHT is to constantly strive for perfection in an imperfect world.   The cashmere fibre is central to this, not just for its luxurious feel, but because it perfectly reflects the brand’s DNA – refinement, rarity, natural luxury, meticulous craftsmanship, timelessness, understated sophistication, commitment to natural excellence, and a mastery of fine materials.

At the heart of EMMAJANE KNIGHT lies quality, creativity and craftsmanship where the most exquisite designs come to life.  Our renowned yarn suppliers and manufacturers, located in Italy, Scotland and UK, employ skilled artisans who work together to meticulously develop each piece.  An obsession with quality and attention to detail defines how I see luxury.

Quality almost always eliminates waste, improves efficiency, and supports businesses that prioritise value.  It saves money as the product needs replacing less frequently.  Focusing on quality also encourages corporate social responsibility practices.

To ensure ethical sourcing in working with such a luxurious, often scrutinised material, I align my brand with the highest industry level standards.  I source my cashmere yarns from reputable suppliers, such as Todd & Duncan and Cariaggi, meeting strict standards like Oeko-Tex 100 Class II, Sustainable Fibre Alliance, and ISO 14001.

Quiet luxury in today’s fashion landscape describes understated elegance, discretion, and refined craftsmanship over flashy logos and conspicuous branding.  We embody this by exceptional quality over logos, minimalist, timeless designs, heritage and craftsmanship, exclusivity through rarity, not price, lifestyle over trend and clientele.

Luxury means to dress well without shouting luxury – our collections whisper it.  As a brand, we epitomise a form of wealth and style that is refined, quiet and enduring.

Craftsmanship is what inspires EMMAJANE KNIGHT most deeply – it’s our origin, obsession and reason for being.  Nature provides the soul and beauty of our materials, while the women who wear our collections give the designs their life and meaning.  The three are not separate – they exist in a creative triangle, with craftsmanship as the anchor, nature as the muse, and the wearer as the ultimate destination.

CHARITY

Our Scarf-Sarong Collection is made in Como, Italy, using exquisitely fine LENZING™ certified modal-cashmere.   The flattering and uplifting colours feel divinely warm in the winter and turn into striking sarongs in the heat.  

A portion of our proceeds goes to support The Whitley Fund for Nature because wildlife conservation is close to my heart.  I chose to partner with the WFN because it is a very special organisation.  It’s small.  It’s very precisely focused … and so it can give its money where it really counts; where every penny counts.”.  (Patron: HRH The Princess Royal, Trustee: Sir David Attenborough).
