Tailored Collection

Our Tailored Collection are made-to-order, and consist of a contemporary take on classic designs.  They are made using exquisite Laurent Garigue fabrics, who supply the world's top fashion houses, such as Dior and Chanel.

Working closely with women’s bodies is far more than just measurements and fit – it reveals a deep, nuanced understanding of movement, emotion, individuality, and power as expressed through clothing.  It teaches humility, empathy, and precision.  It transforms design from something decorative into something deeply human – about how a woman inhabits her body, her clothes and ultimately, her life.  In the hands of our skilled tailors, clothing becomes not just something a woman wears – but something that understands her.

The process goes as follows:-

Please email us at office@emmajaneknight.com or call 07967 974 920 to schedule an appointment for your tailored piece.  We offer a selection of designs, fabrics and trims for you to have your garment made in.  You may order a standard UK / US / EU size or we can measure you for any minor adjustments. 

Full upfront payment is required before your garment is made.  

Please allow the tailor a few weeks to complete the garment.  A few tweaks may be needed after your first fitting to ensure the garment fits perfectly.

 

ABOUT LAURENT GARIGUE FABRICS

The Garigue name has been synonymous with high quality British fabrics since 1947 when they started selling to the Paris Haute Couture, including Cristobal Balenciaga, Christian Dior, Gabrielle Chanel and many other high-end designers Worldwide. Over the past 7 decades their fabrics have been worn by HM Queen Elizabeth II and now HM Queen Camilla as well as HRH The Princess of Wales. They are extremely proud of their British heritage and most of the production is based in Yorkshire and Scotland.

Their aim is to produce beautiful fabrics that are out of the ordinary and of the best quality.
