WATCHING THE PRINCE OF WALES'S CHAMPIONSHIP CUP IN THE ROYAL BOX AT GUARDS POLO CLUB, 22nd August 2021

Keeping the chills at bay with a Scottish sustainably sourced Rust/Taupe Stole draped over my shoulder I enjoyed listening to the Scots Guards play the British National Anthem during half time at the Prince of Wales Championship 2021 Cup Final at Guards Polo Club in Windsor Park yesterday.
Following a memorable Champagne Laurent-Perrier Reception and three course lunch by Mosimann's we watched Park Place play Monterosso.
It was touch and go with the weather and fortunately the sun came out, so I switched my beautifully warm and softest cashmere stole for the ultra fine cashmere modal Scarf-Sarong in Leopard Yawn burnt orange.
The Royal Box overlooking The Queen's Ground is an exclusive and iconic platform to watch the world's greatest high-goal polo players.
HRH The Prince of Wales, himself a former high-goal player, offered his personal support for this new tournament and kindly gave his permission for it to be named after him. Thus sealed an excellent day out!
In between lunch and the game, we wondered around Smith’s lawn viewing an impressive array of classic and modern Ferraris sent by the Ferrari Owners Club of Great Britain.
Hugest thanks to my host, Konstantin Graf von Schweinitz, a passionate player himself and long-standing member at Guards, for the kind invitation.
