It was a great night for all! Virginia McKenna, the famous actress in the Born Free 1966 award winning film and Founder of the Born Free Foundation, spoke to me about her vocation to save endangered species, such as the 7 lions and cubs recently found in the bush. Hosted by John Cleese and his wife, the evening was a great success. Some fun photos of Virginia McKenna, Martha Mavroleon, John Cleese, me and Will Travers (Born Free's President).
I am full of gratitude that I live so central to London's parks. There has been an abundance of wonderful flower displays and organic markets surfacing too. Here are some moments I captured to share with you. Wimbledon in homage ... Chelsea Ivy welcomes Wimbledon x Pimlico Saturday morning Famers Market, a favourite haunt ... Serpentine from the bridge on a very hot day Flowers galore! My invitation to Bond Street's Dolce & Gabbana's Christmas preview was an uplifting experience; the sumptuous on-trend collection is colourful and childlike. Crystal toy broaches adorn beautifully tailored designs. D&B and I enjoyed an hello pose together. I sparkled down Bond Street with pride afterwards carrying a festive D&G shopping bag to my next meeting in St James's Sq.
A successful evening raising funds for a much needed cause. Here Hugh and I are enjoying a chat. After completing the last series of Downton Abbey he's looking forward to Paddington Bear Two's release. I am too!
